Summer has come and gone… and now we are ready to start the fall!

I feel very honored and privileged to have now served one full year as Dean of University College.   As I have started to learn about the different programs within the organization of University College, I have been extremely impressed by the success of our diversity.  We are a center of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary programs and infrastructure support. Exploring how to build on the success of these diverse programs by integrating them into larger-scale initiatives will be an important goal for our future performance excellence.  

I have learned that University College’s most outstanding resource is its extremely talented and resourceful faculty and staff members. The atmosphere in University College provides a rich environment for growth and learning.  Without a great team of colleagues, none of this success would be possible. Furthermore, working with our many community partners has formed the backbone of a network committed to students of all ages. I look forward to working with our many partners in the future as we strive to serve our students.
