Dear UTEP Faculty and Staff:

Welcome to the 2009 University of Texas at El Paso State Employee Charitable Campaign webpage.  I am delighted to serve as the 2009 SECC Chair and  represent your colleagues who are helping coordinate our participation in this year's campaign.

As you know UTEP has a long history of serving El Paso.  Therefore this website is designed to help you continue our campus tradition of service to the community.  The SECC gives all employees a chance to voluntarily contribute to organizations that provide a wide range of vital assistance to El Pasoans and other fellow Texans, as well as charitable organizations throughout the country, including those with national and global missions.

Everyday we are reminded of the challenges families face as they struggle with problems generated by the current global economic slowdown.  Moreover, most of us have been touched personally or know others whose lives have been dramatically changed by health issues or life circumstances that require special treatment and care.  Now, more than ever, far less fortunate people need our help.

The State Employee's Charitable Campaign gives you the opportunity to assist others in ways that not only meet your budget, but respect your interests and choices.  Please consider participating in the 2009 SECC fund raising effort.
