In an effort to improve the services Human Resource Services provides to the University community, the following key projects are being implemented:
Recruitment & Position Manager – online employment process that allows electronic routing and storing of employment requisitions. In addition, it allows applicants to apply online and track application history and status. The system is being implemented on a division wide basis. Stay tuned to find out when your division will be trained.
Service Awards – presented at the Fall Convocation, these awards are given to employees who meet the service criteria. Awards are given to employees with 5 year increments of service. For example: 5 year award, 10 year award, 15 year award, and so on. Employees who feel they are entitled to an award for 2005 may contact the HRS Office.
Electronic Timesheets – electronic routing of timesheets through UT Direct. This is a new project initiative. More information concerning this project will be available in the upcoming months.
Faculty credentialing – in order to prepare for the SACS accreditation, HRS is working with the Colleges to ensure that proper documentation is on file for faculty. For more information about this project, contact the HRS Office.
