Dear Valued Continuing Education Member:
We hope your fall is going well. Throughout the past several months, the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) has gone through some organizational changes. These changes have merged Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) with other UTEP programs in
University College. This winning combination of programs provides us with a greater number of opportunities to serve our community.
University College brings together some of the most innovative and well-received programs at UTEP, including the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies, Master of Public Administration, Master of Leadership Studies, Master of Science in Intelligence and National Security Studies, Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence, Law School Preparation Institute, several Off-Campus Programs and the Regional Geospatial Service Center. We believe that this combination of highly respected programs and the dedicated faculty and professionals that make up University College will have a positive impact on the future of your continuing education.
In order to simplify this union, it was necessary change our name. We are now
University College Professional & Public Programs. Under this new name, you will continue to find programs in Community Enrichment Programs for Adults and Youth, Professional Training and Development, English Language Institute (ELI), Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), and the Ft. Bliss Outreach Program.
As always, our dedication to our students is our number one priority. See you in class!
Dennis L. Soden, Dean
