REGISTRATION
Q: When can I register for classes?
A: Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday or online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Q: When will I receive a confirmation of my enrollment?
A: A confirmation will be mailed to you within 48 hours of your enrollment. The confirmation is not required to attend class.
Q: Can I transfer from one class to another, and is there a fee?
A: Transfer may be made only to another class of equal or greater value and before the second class meeting. A transfer fee of $15 and the difference in tuition will be required along with your written request.
Q: When is payment for class required?
A: Payment is due on or before the first day of class. In order for us to hold a class, registration minimums must be met. Please don’t wait until the day of class to register.

LOCATION
Q: How do I get to your office?
A: We are located in Miners Hall, Suite 108. As you go north on University Ave. from Sun Bowl Dr., you will pass the traffic control station and make an immediate left on Dormitory Rd., and Miners Hall is the third building on the left.

A: Classes are located on campus unless noted otherwise.
Q: What do I do if I receive a parking citation?
A: You will receive your parking permit on the first day of class; however, if you receive a parking ticket on the first day of class, you may turn in the ticket to the Professional & Public Programs office within 24 hours. Parking tickets will not be excused after the first class meeting for any reason. Failure to observe parking regulations may result in your car being towed at your expense.

A: Certificate programs are groups of classes designed to provide in-depth studies in a particular subject area.
Q: Why enroll in a Certificate Program?
A: Certificate programs are a way to demonstrate acquisition of new skills for your current career, for career advancement, or to start a new career.
Q: What kind of credit will I earn?
A: Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
Q: What are Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)?
A: University College offers credit for continuing education training. The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is defined as:
Ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. Many organizations require the CEU (ten contact hours = one CEU) as a unit of measure for completed training.
Certificates of completion will be distributed only to those students who meet course and attendance requirements.
Q: How do I receive my certificates?
A: Upon completion of the program, you will receive your certificate the last day of class or one will be mailed to you unless you indicate otherwise.
