Our Grounds staff is responsible for maintaining the exterior campus environment and providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Our 27 groundskeepers and irrigation technicians maintain the campus' 366 acres of land and its roads, sidewalks and parking lots.

Their responsibilities include:

• Operating a greenhouse
• Maintaining grass and xeriscaped areas
• Planting, pruning and maintaining shrub beds, flower beds, trees and seasonal areas
• Designing, installing and maintaining irrigation systems
• Maintaining athletic fields
• Litter control and trash disposal
• Repairing, maintaining and cleaning streets, parking lots and concrete surfaces
• Providing event support as needed
• Rock wall repair
• Minor repair to sidewalks
• Landscaping with pavers
• Creation of concrete benches and tables on campus
