Miner Metro Route Schedule

The Miner Metro System consists of the four routes listed below.
For Your Information:
- Miner Metro shuttles are FREE to all UTEP faculty, staff, students and visitors.
- Service is available Monday through Friday when classes are in session during the fall, spring
and summer semesters.
- Shuttles do not operate during Wintermester, summer minimesters, University holidays or
during intersessions.
- The lost and found is operated by the Campus Police, please contact them at 747-6635 if
you are looking for an item.

Sun Metro Route # 70 University Express - Spring Schedule
ADA Shuttle Times
Route 1: East - Blue (Schedule for Fall and Spring)
The stop in front of Horizon Healthcare will move closer to University Avenue next to the Hilton Garden Inn
Monday - Thursday
6:30 am - 9:05 pm*
Fridays
6:30 am - 5:45 pm*
5-7 minutes during peak 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
8-10 minutes on Fridays
Buses run 25 minute intervals during non-peak hours
*Last inbound trip: Monday-Thursday at 8:52 pm, Fri at 5:32 pm
(Rim/Hawthorn bus stop to R6 bus stop)

Streets used on route 1 (East Loop): Sun Bowl Drive, Glory Road, Randolph Drive, Robinson Avenue, Oregon Street,
and Rim Road.
Shuttle stops on route 1 (East Loop): lot R6, lot R5, lot R3, lot R2, lot P9, lot S5, and the Hilton Garden Inn.

Route 2: Campus Loop - Green (Schedule for Fall and Spring)
This route provides service to the perimeter of the main campus.
Monday - Friday
8:00 am to 5:37 pm*
7-9 minutes during peak 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Buses run in 15 minute intervals during non-peak hours
*Last inbound trip: Monday-Friday at 5:28 pm
(Rim/Hawthorne bus stop at P11/Glory Road Garage bus stop)
Streets used on route 2 (Campus Loop/South): Rim Road, Hawthorne Street, Schuster Avenue, Sun Bowl Drive, Glory Road,
and Oregon Street.
Shuttle stops on route 2 (Campus Loop/South): on the corner of Hawthorne and Rim, Academic Services Building, lot S2,
Sun Bowl Parking Facility, lot P6, P9, P12, and the Hilton Garden Inn.

Route 3: West - Orange
This route provides direct service to the West side of campus dropping off at lot P-5.
Monday - Thursday
6:30 am - 9:00 pm*
Friday
6:30 am to 5:30 pm*
Every 5-7 minutes during peak hours (7:30 am - 5 pm)
Buses run in 15 minute intervals during non-peak hours
*Last inbound trip: Monday-Thursday at 8:52 pm, Friday at 5:22pm
(P-5 to R-6 bus stop)
Streets used on route 3 (West): Sun Bowl Drive and Dawson Drive
Shuttle stops on route 3 (West): lot R6, lot R5, lot R3, lot R2, lot P6, and lot P5

Route 4: College of Health Sciences/School of Nursing
This route provides service between main campus at Rim and Hawthorne to the College of Health Sciences.
Monday - Friday
7:00 am to 5:45 pm
Buses run in 15 minute intervals
Streets used on route 4 (College of Health Sciences/Nursing): Arizona Avenue, Oregon Street, Rim Road, Hawthorne Street,
Schuster Avenue, and Florence Street.
Shuttle stops on route 4 (College of Health Sciences/Nursing): College of Health Sciences
and the corner of Hawthorne and Rim.
