The Centennial Tour Series is in full swing and January’s walking tour focuses on the history of UTEP’s architecture. Learn how a school in the Chihuahuan Desert came to adopt the Bhutanese architectural style as its own and why it’s persisted for almost 100 years!

Additionally, Max Grossman, Ph.D., assistant professor of art history at UTEP and Vice Chair of the El Paso County Historical Commission, will give a featured lecture on the topic at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18th at the Stanlee and Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts Auditorium, followed by a brief tour.
