System Requirements Title
All UTEP employees whose primary position is faculty or staff (non-student employment positions) are provided with an @utep.edu email address. By policy that is the only acceptable email address to be used for UTEP business.

Getting Started
Faculty and staff email accounts are generated automatically once the hiring process is complete. Human Resources or the hiring department will give the employee their email address as soon as it is available. To set a login password or to obtain your account information contact the Help Desk.

To access email with any browser, visit my.utep.edu and Sign In with your UTEP username and password, then click on Webmail.

To set up Outlook on your UTEP computer, open the Outlook icon on your desktop and follow the instructions for automatic set up.

By proactively setting your security questions, you can easily reset your password yourself in the case that you forget it.
