Account Management

System Requirements Title
One single UTEP account provides access to most of UTEP’s academic and business resources including MyUTEP, Library Services, on-campus Wi-Fi connectivity, and much more. Employees can also access PeopleSoft, and UTEP's online purchasing system, MinerMall.

Faculty and staff email accounts are generated automatically once the hiring process is complete. Human Resources or your department will provide you with your account username.

By proactively setting your security questions, you can easily reset your password yourself in the case that you forget it.

Set your Security Questions

College or department management may request sponsored accounts for non-university personnel (guest faculty, contractor, alumni, etc) who are affiliated with the university and are assisting the university in meeting its mission.

Campus Affiliate Credential Guidelines & Forms

Employee and sponsored accounts are made inactive when they leave UTEP. Retirees may request permanent accounts and supervisors may request a temporary extension for departing staff. Additional details on account policies can be found in UTEP’s Information Security Policies.
