Conference Calls

System Requirements Title
Conference calling is a service which allows three or more parties to participate on a phone call. Conference calls can be used to meet with remote parties via telephone for project meetings and updates, regular team meetings, training classes and communication with employees who work in remote locations. Conference calls may also be viewed as a means of reducing travel costs, allowing workers to be more productive by not forcing them to leave the office for meetings.

The Conference Call system at UTEP allows for up to six callers to participate on a telephone call by dialing in a special number provided by the Telecommunication Infrastructure (TI) department. Conference calls can be made from both UTEP and non-UTEP phone numbers.
