This office is primarily responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the annual University Operating Budget.
University Operating Budget
The Budget Office coordinates the preparation of the annual operating budget. The operating budget establishes the allocation of the University resources and their use.
Funds Transfers/Budget Adjustments
Requests for funds transfers or for budget adjustments, except for those involving contract and grant funds, should be submitted to this office for processing.
Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR)
The Budget Office coordinates the preparation of this document which summarizes the University's funding requests to the State of Texas. This document is submitted to the State Legislature for consideration.
