EAP provides free confidential help to all faculty, staff, retiree or family member who is experiencing a problem that affects job performance or home life. The EAP offers confidential assessment, referral, and follow-up service to UTEP employees and their immediate families. Professionally trained counselors are available to talk to employees, to help them assess their needs, and to make appropriate referrals to resources in the local community when needed. In addition, supervisory and management personnel can seek counsel on managing difficult employee situations and making appropriate employee referrals to the EAP.
