* Skeleton Crew Required - Certain University departments would remain open during these days with a limited staff available.
An employee who wishes to observe a religious holiday, or any other State holiday, may do so in-lieu of any holiday or holidays for which the employee serves as a member of the skeleton crew work force required by the Texas Government Code, Chapter 662, Chapter A, or by taking vacation.
Faculty and students should consult the academic calendar for information regarding class days and semester schedules.
Those offices which will remain open and functional with reduced staffs on Skeleton-crew holidays are as follows:

The Facilities Services Department will maintain emergency crews to be available on call, but will not otherwise staff its offices. Facilities Services emergencies are to be referred through the University Police for immediate radio relay to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
