Desktop Support Team


Desktop Support is an extension of the services provided by the Technology Support Help Desk. Our primary goal is to maximize systems availability by minimizing systems downtime.

Desktop Support is comprised of a team of Dell and Apple certified technicians. Support functions include hardware and software diagnostics and repairs of university owned computers and associated peripherals.

Our staff provides maintenance and support in technology-enhanced classrooms. Proactive maintenance of computers and audiovisual equipment in the classrooms is critical to us. Providing support to faculty in the classroom is a top priority to ensure technology is ready when it is needed.

Hardware Support

  • Troubleshoots hardware malfunctions and initiates repair actions
  • Purchases and installs non-warranty repair parts
  • Provides consultations on hardware upgrades
  • Performs memory and hard drive upgrades
  • Assists with system configurations and setup
