Mobile Computing Areas

Use of laptops and tablets, smartphone and even wrist devices has grown exponentially on the UTEP campus. Whether you are a student, staff, faculty, or even a guest you can bring your own mobile device to the TSC and find a place to charge up and login to the Internet.


Wireless connectivity
There are no special settings needed for your device to connect to the UTEP Wireless Network. Since the wireless network is an "Open" network, simply ensure that your wireless device is enabled.

  Access to mobile printing
Send documents to printers across campus direct from your mobile device, while on the UTEP Wireless Network. Click the mobile printing link to the right for help setting up your device.

  Access to Scan to Mobile station
Scan documents and send them to your email, smart phone or USB thumb drive. Skip using a computer and send your scans directly to your personal digital devices. 
  Access to
Students, faculty, and staff can access most software offered in student computer labs from their personal computing devices at 
    Access to numerous outlets and charging stations
Need an outlet? We have over 100 at the Technology Support Center. Anywhere you sit you will find a place to charge your devices close by.
