College or department management may request sponsored accounts for non-university personnel (guest faculty, contractor, alumni, etc) who are affiliated with the university and are assisting the university in meeting its mission.
Campus Affiliate Credential Guidelines & Forms
Employee and sponsored accounts are made inactive when they leave UTEP. Retirees may request permanent accounts and supervisors may request a temporary extension for departing staff. Additional details on account policies can be found in UTEP’s Information Security Policies.
